Animals of Masters
The Lochner’s donkey pendant is DinaGM’s sculptural interpretation of the donkey from Lochner’s painting “The Adoration of the Child”, 1445.
Artist Dina González Mascaró selects artworks of some of her favorite masters and creates her own sculptural interpretations of creatures from the famous drawings and paintings. Among them are the bull from Picasso’s “guernica”, Durer’s “young hare”, and the donkey from Lockner’s “The Adoration of the Child”. Animals of Masters are both a re-view of art history and new artworks to be worn, carried, and admired as miniature sculpture. Each animal is available as a ring or a pendant, and in bronze, silver or gold.
